Cathy Kibbey

Cathy worked for the Bakersfield California Police Department for over 34 years, 31 of which has been in the Crime Scene Unit. She has worked hundreds of crime scenes including burglaries, sexual assaults, homicides and officer involved shootings.

Cathy has over nine years of supervisory responsibility for the crime scene unit before her retirement frpm the pollice department.

Cathy is also a member of the International Association for Identification and the California Division of IAI.  She has served on the Board of CSDIAI and actively participated as the speaker chair for 2003, 2006 and 2010 seminars.

Cathy obtained her latent certification in 1998 and joined our training staff in 2009.
